Susan Lorraine Guymer

Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and dear friend passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Age 61 years. The daughter of David and Annabelle (Dupuis) Cronk, Susan was born on October 11, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. Susan married the love of her life Gary Guymer on July 10, 1982 and together they shared 30 years of marriage. Susan was a lover of all animals and cared about all creatures big and small. She found homes for 1398 animals that she rescued and made sure that they found loving homes. Susan loved to golf, deer hunt and of course the casino. Most importantly, she loved her family and she enjoyed her trips with her sisters Judy and Janet to Florida.

Surviving besides her parents and her husband Gary is her one son Mark Allen Grzesiak of Tampa, Florida; her siblings David (Marcia) Cronk, Jr. of Clare; Janet (Norman) Baczkiewicz of Frederic; Thomas (Virginia) Cronk of Brant; Judy (Gordon) Guymer of Montrose; James Cronk of Saginaw; Bill Cronk and fiancée Toni of St. Charles; along with many nieces and nephews.

Honoring Mrs. Guymer’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. David L. Parsch will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Humane Society and to Animal Matters, 7590 Solimar Circle, Boca Raton, Florida 33433.
