Harold George Strongrich

U.S. Veteran

Beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 82 years. Son of the late Peter and Fern (Paulus) Strongrich, Harold was born August 23, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a graduate of SS. Peter and Paul High School. Harold served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He owned and managed many car dealerships in his lifetime. Harold enjoyed playing golf, watching the Denver Bronco’s playing football and fishing especially in Alaska. Surviving are three daughters, Lynn and Michael Mitrision, Grand Junction, Colorado; Dana Abby, Denver, Colorado; Laura Ruby, Gurnee, Illinois; two step-daughters, Michelle and Keri Honeycutt, Bowie, Texas; Jeanine and Bart Lunsford, Diamondhead, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Christopher Mitrision and Kyle and Brittney Ruby; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie Pretzer, Saginaw; many nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Strongrich; one brother, Andrew Strongrich and one sister, Beverly DeSander. Honoring Mr. Strongrich’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Heart Association.
