Loving wife, mother and sister passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Covenant Health Care- Harrison. Age 51 years. Daughter of the late John and Mary (Lash) Rockowski, Carol was born December 3, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan. Carol married the love of her life from 1979, Robert Duby and was married on May 2, 1987. He survives her. Carol was employed as a computer programmer at Hewlett Packard. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Carol was an avid donor to Michigan Blood. She enjoyed traveling with her brothers and sister to Vegas, golfing, bowling and especially spending time watching her girls in sports. Surviving besides her husband Robert are two daughters, Shannon and Nicole; one sister and three brothers, Jim ( Cheryl) Rockowski, Washington; Terry Rockowski, Indiana; Lori (Jim) Lyon, Saginaw; Tom (Laura) Rockowski, Florida; a brother-in-law, Gene (Margie) Brownson, Lake Isabella; her aunt, Rose (Lloyd) Parson, California; several nieces, nephews and special friends. Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Brownson. Funeral Liturgy will take place 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. David Parsch will officiate with entombment in Chapel Hill Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty) where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
