Schatzley, James L., Saginaw Twp., Michigan. Beloved father and grandfather passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at St. Francis Home. Age 70 years. Son of the late Walter and Phyllis (Broach) Schatzley, James was born May 4, 1942 in Lafayette, Indiana. He married Paula Dodge on February 17, 1962. She predeceased him November 29, 2009. James was employed by General Motors as a tool and die maker. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Susan Schatzley, Freeland; two grandchildren, Megan and Michael Schatzley. James was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kelly Ann Schatzley. Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. James R. Carlson will officiate . Honoring Mr. Schatzley’s wishes cremation will follow and private interment of cremains will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
