Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012. Age 87 years. Gloria West was born November 6, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was married to James Cardinal. He predeceased her in 1991. Gloria was employed as a secretary in the Carrollton School System for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Surviving are two daughters, two sons and their spouses, Cindy (Jack) Gruno, Pat (Mike) Brandi, Mark (Jeanie) Cardinal all of Saginaw; Jamie (Jenni) Cardinal, Gladwin; one son in-law , David Beni, Traverse City; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and an angel on the way; one sister, Delores( Bill) Cardinal; several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Beni and a great-grandson, Joshua Gruno. Honoring Mrs. Cardinals wishes cremation has taken place. A private Memorial Service will take place.
