Beloved father and grandfather passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. Age 83 years. The son of the late Joseph and Frances (Nowak) Borucki, Ted was born August 20, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Ted married Jeanne Marie Hood on May 3, 1958. She predeceased him February 4, 1995. He was employed as a sheet metal worker for Sheet Metal Local #7 for 35 years until his retirement in 1985. In his earlier years, Ted enjoyed building and racing cars. Surviving are two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Tom Hayes, Saginaw; Ron and Laurie Hayes, Saginaw; Tammy and Tom Headings, Saginaw; five grandchildren, Angela Hayes, Steven Hayes, Bryan Dearman, Trisha (Brandon) Bellinger, Ashley Headings; four great-grandchildren, Brenden and Sommer Bellinger, Nicholas and Isaac Dearman; several nieces and nephews. Ted was preceded in death by his brother, Florian Borucki. Honoring Mr. Borucki’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private committal service will take place at Oakwood Mausoleum.
